Peter Wasswa

Peter Wasswa is a Human rights and documentary film maker, He is skilled and talented cinematographer,video editor and photographer, working on both documentary, fiction filmmaking, and branded content production

Peter is drawn to storytelling with a strong visual style. His ability to foster close relationships with actors and documentary subjects allows for truthful moments in the work

Peter got his start at Kampala Film School, the leading film institute in East Africa. There he honed his skills in fiction and documentary cinematographer and photography. Since then, Peter has worked on a number of film projects like pearl Magic's "Date My Family Uganda", A TV show where he was the D.o.P for season 1&2(2020)as well as a camera assistant to True Heroes film company from Geneva Switzerland on the Human Rights film documentary (2018). In 2020 he produced, shot and edited three online shows featuring Kenneth Mugabi, Micheal Kitanda and Sam Kimera. In all he made over 20 pieces of work ranging frm corporate videos, music videos, short and feature length fiction and documentary films
